The Neuroscience of Transformation

Join us on Tuesday, March 26, 2024
5:30-7:00 pm

We will open the Zoom room at 5:20 pm for networking prior to the program.

The Neuroscience of Transformation

When combined with a strong foundation of Traditional coaching models, Neuroscience-based change models allow us to design approaches to support our clients in ways neither type can access alone.

For example, this combination allows us to successfully support people even if they struggle to be introspective or reflective and empower people who struggle to sustain change. Adding models like Unlearning, Memory Reconsolidation, Explicit vs. Implicit Systems, and Neural Integration (among others) to a traditional coaching allows coaches to overcome obstacles in a more informed, effective, and intentional manner.

This session is a high-level introduction to the foundations of the Neuroscience of Transformation and to different neuroscience-based models (and where they can be best applied in a coaching process). Please note that this is an application-oriented introduction and as an introduction, it will not offer an in-depth mastery of any one particular model.

Learning Objectives:
Understand the contribution of neuroscience-based models to a solid foundation of traditional coaching mastery.

Recognize some of the top Neuroscience-based models available to date.

Align the distinct contribution of different neuroscience-based change models with the different phases of a coaching process.

Competencies addressed:  Listens Actively, Evokes Awareness, Facilitates Client Growth

Participants will earn 1.5 Core Competency CCEs for attending.
